Is waxing painful?
There can be some discomfert during your first waxing appointment. Over time with subsequent waxing procedures, your skin will typically tollerate it better. We use the very best techniques and products to help make you as comfortable as possible.
What can I expect after a wax service?
After your waxing, your skin will be hair free and sometimes there might be some irritation. We will provide you with detailed after-care instructions.
What are your business hours?
We are open 7 days per week and generally schedule appointments 8am – 10pm. We are by appointment only and do not offer walk-in service.
Where is The Wax Daddy located?
We are located at 20 Executive Drive, Suite J Carmel, IN 46032. The Wax Daddy Studio is located within the GLOW LUXE salon (just North of Kroger)
Pre Wax Care
- Hair should be atleast 1/4″ in length
- Shower with warm water and soap to open pores, but avoid lotions or oils that can prevent wax from gripping.
- Stop using topical acne creams (like Retin-A) 7 days before and after waxing.
- Don’t tan or use tanning beds for 24-48 hours before waxing.
- Avoid waxing if you have sunburn, irritation.
- Gently exfoliate your skin 24 hours before your appointment.
- Avoid caffenine and alcohol 24 hours before your appointment.
- Wear loose clothing for your appointment.
Post Wax Care
- Start exfoliating 3 days after your waxing service.
- Avoid hot showers, saunas, and steam for 24 hours.
- Avoid the gym for 24 hours
- Avoid tanning and sun exposure for 24 hours
- Avoid tight clothing for 24 hours.
- Apply skin mositurizer daily

Can I get waxed while on my period?
Yes, you can still receive waxing services while on your period. We simply ask that you where a fresh tampon or menstrual cup for your appointment. Please note, the skin may be more sensitive during this time so there may be more discomfort.
